JILLIAN BOOTH
My images contain fractals in which one may loose the sense of scale with a familiar object. I enjoy the play between two distinct realms such as near and far, the natural with the industrial and public with private.

All manner of print media are fascinating to me and I always like to process imagery by combining different techniques. Etchings are printed on top of digital images. Silkscreens on fabric have been embroidered into and drawings are made onto printed paper.

Through the intricacies and complexities of the microscopic world I find an awareness of an object's attributes. And within the tactile nature of these fragments I am compelled to map out some kind of visual language which I continue to make meaning with.
